On March 12, 2025, at 11:00 AM, the Royal Thai Embassy in Mexico City organized a ceremony to receive the Buddha statue, Buddha Sirindhorn Thepparatmongkolbhuwadolsanti, granted by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn of the Kingdom of Thailand. The ceremony was presided over by H.E. The Buddha Sirindhorn Thepparatmongkolbhuwadolsanti, is a 20-inch tall, 10-kilogram metal statue in the "Pang Leela" (walking) posture. Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn presided over the buddhist consecration ceremony on July 22, 2023, at Suthat Thep Wararam temple. Her Royal Highness graciously ordered that the Buddha statues be distributed to various institutions both in Thailand and abroad, including the Royal Thai Embassy in Mexico City.
