On 6 March 2025, at 10.00 hrs. H.E. Mr. Rooge Thammongkol, Thai Ambassador to Mexico, had a meeting with Ms. Maritza Juarez Duran, representing the Director of the National Service of Agrifood Health, Safety and Quality (SENASICA), along with officials from Mexico’s Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and Ministry of Economy. The meeting focused on enhancing market access and expanding economic opportunities for Thai agri-food products in Mexico, particularly rice and canned fruits and vegetables. The Thai Ambassador also reaffirmed his commitment in further strengthening two-way trade and investment between Thailand and Mexico in the evolving global economic landscape.
