The Ambassador of Thailand to Mexico presented copies of the Letters of Credentials to the Director General of Protocol, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mexico
On 5 June 2024, H.E. Mr. Rooge Thammongkol, Ambassador of Thailand to Mexico, paid a courtesy call on Mr. Jonathan Chait Auerbach, Director General of Protocol, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mexico, in order to present copies of the Letters of Credentials accrediting him as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Thailand to Mexico. The ceremony was also attended by Mr. Fernando González-Saiffe, Director General for Asia-Pacific, and Mr. Miguel A. Guerrero Lechon, Coordinator with Foreign Missions, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mexico.
On such occasion, the Director General of Protocol welcomed and congratulated the Ambassador, and expressed readiness to support the Ambassador’s activities in Mexico. Both sides also discussed the friendly relations between Thailand and Mexico and expressed their determination to further strengthen cooperation in all areas, especially trade and investment, academic and education cooperation, culture and people-to-people contacts, as well as the organization of activities to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Thailand-Mexico diplomatic relations next year.
